Log into a Facebook account if you have one. If you don't have one, go make one up. Then search by her full name. You can find her full name on her deviantART page. There is only one person with her name on Facebook. Then, send a message to her on Facebook asking about the status of your commission. State the day and month you paid her and ask her, what happened to it? While you're at it, copy the list of her friends and start asking her friends what happened to her? Why didn't she finish the commission? Why did she disappear? Don't forget to mention how much money you would like back in a refund and leave your contact information with her friends and on her Facebook.

For those of you who had their money taken by Naughtykitty-kitty, you are owed an explanation. Please, go forth and ask for that explanation.

Disclaimer:
I have not received 100% proof indicating that the person you're searching on Facebook is indeed Naughtykitty-kitty. I am basing this on two facts. She has a similar face to a picture posted on gochikku.com and this Elizabeth Leaper has many, many friends from New Zealand. I find the two things to be too closely related to be mere coincidences.

"All we want are the facts, ma'am"

On December 7, 2007, I paid Elizabeth, AKA Naughtykitty-kitty ( [link] ) thirty dollars via PayPal to draw four chibi characters. It was a buy two characters, get two characters free sales purchase. I submitted the reference pictures and the description by e-mail, which she received.

Fact: She has never submitted a working copy/rough draft/work in progress of the chibi characters to me.

On September 4, 2008, I sent an e-mail to her requesting the status of my commission. On September 11, she wrote:

“Hey
sorry for the lack of communication, I currently don't have my own internet due to moving house. Your commission is at the top of the list and I can get it done this week.
Sorry for how late all of this has been, everything on my end has been hectic.

and again, my apologies.”

Fact: After September 11, 2008, I have never heard from her again. At the end of 2008, I submitted requests for refunds to her on November 12, 22, and December 21, 22. She never responded to those requests. She has not responded to e-mails from two different e-mail accounts, nor to notes submitted to her in deviantART, nor to posts on her deviantART homepage.

On her last post on her deviantART (December 2008), she requested that her customers submit the reference pictures and descriptions for commissions that were overdue, and I complied with that request on January 7, 2009. I have never received a response or an acknowledgement from her.

Those are the facts. Forthcoming will be my opinion and commentary.

Elizabeth has behaved irresponsibly and reprehensibly. She has a moral obligation to complete the work she was paid to do or to comply with my request for a full refund. She has failed to complete her obligations as an artist and she has failed to live up to her word.

Elizabeth is an example of a person who abuses the trust of others and cannot be trusted herself. I am not the only customer of hers who has not received their commission and that is unfortunate. It is unfortunate that she has made the decision to default on her obligations to others. This is a personal failing and one without consequence or recourse. It is clear to me that I won’t receive my refund nor will the others who have been let down by Elizabeth. Hope does not remain, but the willingness to make right does.

I make my fault with Miss Elizabeth public knowledge. What do you call someone you pay, but takes your money and runs? It starts with a [ ] and ends with an [ ]. The only request I can make of you, John Q. Public or Jane Q. Public, is that you refuse to commission or pay for her services. That is all I can say of her and all I can ask of you.
