[leosvaughn]
After working on a writing project, I needed a diversion away from it. I had a brief flash of brilliance and this idea was the result. The hunt was on for an artist who had the right style to fit the idea. After examining his gallery, I decided on leosvaughn. His body of work features many different characters, including original characters and anime. He went straight to work on my commission and thats always a good sign of a trustworthy artist. Please visit his gallery and check out his other commissions.
This was one of the best commissions Ive had done in 2009. The amount of artistic detail in this picture is astounding and you have to look at it narrowly to find all the fanboy goodness. Leosvaughn is an artist I strongly recommend for commissions.

Brainiac is a D.C. Comics villain bent on collecting alien worlds and destroying his Kryptonian nemesis, Superman. Oracle is Barbara Gordon, the first Batgirl, and has one of the finest minds in Earth-Zero.
Story:
Tired of suffering defeat after defeat at the hands of Superman and his ally Batman, Brainiac developed a new attack strategy. Rather than attack his enemies directly, he would strike at them through their allies.
In a cruel blow to Batman, he targeted Oracle, a long time ally to his nemesis and leader of the Birds of Prey. As a bonus, she possessed one of the finest minds on the planet and Brainiac took pleasure in adding her intelligence into his collective. In order to ensure her cooperation, Brainiac installed his signature mind probes into Oracle, creating the first Bride of Brainiac.
Oracle resisted the transformation process, as all of the future brides would, but she was only human and would eventually falter. The second bride would require more time to develop, but soon, her ability to resist would falter too and she would join Oracle in the service of Brainiac.

Barbara Gordon was always one of my favorite DC heroines, and judging by the red boot near the edge of the picture, I'm assuming Brainiac's "indoctrinating" either Wonder Woman or Supergirl.
I can't wait to see more of your stuff, regardless if it pertains to this, or something else.
Best of luck!
fantastic idea
