FetishDrawer’s slime art drew my interest in commissioning him for a new theme for my gallery. He drew an excellent picture of a character being absorbed by a slime that I figured I would need one of my own. I queued up, but he actually fell off my radar for a bit until he reached out to complete my request. It was well worth the wait and I have a happy new addition for my gallery.

Title: Emma Frost - The End

Background:
The genesis of this idea comes from the brief appearance of one of Mr. Sinister’s Marauders in the alternative universe from X-Men: The End. Codenamed Divinity, he has the ability to absorb his victims and assume control of their powers.

Story:
Mr. Sinister has prepared for an end game against the X-Men and the first moves are to take out the telepathic forces protecting his foes. By removing the telepaths from play, Mr. Sinister and his Marauders will be able to move and think freely without fear of detection.

Having absorbed one of the students into his form, Divinity mimicked the biological signature of his victim and entered the mansion grounds undetected. Stalking the premises, he approached Headmistress Frost while in the guise of his victim. Having convinced her of his harmless nature, the moment she turned his back, his true form emerged and he enveloped her into his body. Paralyzed and unable to struggle, Emma Frost met her end within the gooey confines of the creature codenamed Divinity.
