Anitacica has lovely World of Warcraft themed work in her gallery and it was how I found her. Her art style offers a unique touch that I appreciate as a fan of WoW.

If you're interested in seeing work I've commissioned from Anitacica and other artists, click on my gallery and take a look around.

Title: Veronica of the Forsaken

Background:
This is an original character, Veronica Handelsman [link] , disguised as a Forsaken warlock apprentice in the World of Warcraft.

Story:
Veronica was on a research trip in the World of Warcraft and she went undercover to study the Horde faction. The Horde are hostile to human beings so she used an Orb of Deception to change her physical appearance and blend in, but the results didn’t please her. Her disguise was a Forsaken warlock apprentice, which meant she had to go to the Undercity, capital of the Forsaken.

Veronica wanted to lose a little weight, just not this much weight. Also, she wanted a female orc disguise. There were more interesting topics to research in orc gender relations than Forsaken gender relations, which generally mimic human gender relations. Granted, there were some “interesting” anatomical differences between the human and Forsaken race. It certainly made the visit through the Undercity’s Red Light District an eye-opener.

Ronnie’s Myspace:
Eww. That was my first impression of my disguise. Grossness. I knew it was a dice roll to get the orc disguise, but, I didn’t want to be a Forsaken. They are a little gross looking and so was I for awhile. It took some time to get used to having exposed joints and I avoided the mirror as often as I could. Yeah, more grossness. And it’s so unfair that the Professor got to be a Blood Elf. They are gorgeous and here I am with saggy boobs and exposed skin. So unfair.

Anyway, there’s a weird social dynamic in the Undercity. A lot of the Forsaken are pretty emo over being undead. I get it, but their emo whining gets annoying because they’re like that all the time. The only time I see them smile is after they mention hurting someone. They’re pretty twisted. On a sadism test, they’re scored at the top. I’m just glad the disguise worked as long as it did. They really don’t like humans and they run warped experiments on prisoners.
