Magik - The End Part II

This is a home run of a commission by D-Xross.  I needed a prototype/sample version of Jellax-like X-Men victims and he nailed it.  I’m very pleased with how this commission turned out and I can’t wait to add to this series.  D-Xross had a different design when he was preparing it and he was flexible to my request for changes.  I appreciate his willingness to modify the picture and prepare it to my specific requests.  He was an excellent find this year and he can do excellent work for you too.

Title: Magik – The End Part II

Background:

The genesis of this idea comes from the brief appearance of one of Mr. Sinister’s Marauders in the alternative universe from X-Men: The End.  Codenamed Divinity, he has the ability to absorb mutants into his liquid form and assume control of their powers.  This is a sequel to the Title: Sage – The End, dwwrider.deviantart.com/art/Sa… , Title: Emma Frost – The End, dwwrider.deviantart.com/art/Em… , Title: Meltdown – The End, dwwrider.deviantart.com/art/Me… , and Title: Stepford Cuckoos – The End, dwwrider.deviantart.com/art/St….  This is a sequel to Title: Magik – The End Part I, dwwrider.deviantart.com/art/Ma….

Story:
The queen is dead, long live the queen.  Magik, ruler of Limbo, was usurped by Divinity the Marauder.  An ambush most foul felled her while she sat on her throne.  Without warning, Divinity engulfed Magik in his blue slime and his powers went into action.  Trapped inside his slime, Magik felt her body, mind, and soul fall under his control.  A paralytic agent in the slime prevented her from summoning her powers to expel this intruder.  Divinity gushed into her open mouth, ears, and other openings to fill her insides with voracious slime.  Cell by cell the slime took over, replacing Magik with Divinity instead.  Silently, without a struggle, she was absorbed into his gooey interior.

Using his enhanced powers, Divinity recreated Magik as a slime minion.  A shell of her original personality existed within this wretched creature, stripped of its independence and free will, but full of her original power and potential.  Her powers remained true to form despite the changes in her body.  Fully absorbed and assimilated, the former ruler of Limbo served Divinity’s master,  Mr. Sinister.  While Divinity wished to take more time to enjoy the fruits of his labor, Mr. Sinister’s orders took precedence.  He instructed his minion to channel a portal back to Earth, where they would return to Mr. Sinister’s service.  Her powers would be put to devious use, ferrying him in and out of areas to abduct, replace, and enslave new targets for their master.  Without a hint of resistance, the Magik slime copy obeyed and opened a new portal.  They had places to be and mutants to absorb.
